At this Tucker, Georgia home, Aurora supplied and professionally installed a KE Domina Retractable Awning over the pool, where one family member spends hours almost every day. Now that time in the water has steady, adjustable shade.
For this family, the pool is more than a place to cool off. One family member spends several hours in the water almost every day, and that time matters more than any other part of the routine.
With that much time in direct sun, skin protection became a priority. The parents needed shade that would reach past the pool deck and over the water itself — something a patio umbrella or a short awning could not cover.
After visiting the property, our team recommended the KE Domina Retractable Awning for one reason: projection. With up to 11 feet 9 inches of reach, it extends farther than the other options the family had found and covers the section of the pool where they spend the most time.
The KE Domina is a full-cassette motorized awning with Italian engineering. With a remote, the family extends it when the sun is strong and retracts it when they want open sky. When closed, the fabric and folding arms stay protected inside the aluminum housing.
Aurora supplied the system, custom-made for the house, and our team professionally installed it.
Today, the pool has a shaded area that is ready whenever it is needed. The family member can spend long hours in the water with far less direct sun on the skin, and the parents have one less thing to worry about.
The family thanked Pedro and our team for recommending the option that covers the most of the pool. For them, the awning is not a decorative addition — it protects the time that matters most.
Learn how a KE Domina Retractable Awning can extend over a pool and give adjustable shade to the area where your family spends the most time.
Yes, when it has enough projection. A Retractable Awning mounted on a wall, a fence or another solid structure shades the area in front of it, so the distance it extends decides how much of the pool it covers. A KE Domina Retractable Awning reaches up to 11 feet 9 inches, enough to go past the edge and over the water.
A fixed roof shades the pool all year, even on days when you want sun. A motorized Retractable Awning gives you the choice: extend it with a remote when the sun is strong and retract it when you want open sky. When closed, the KE Domina keeps the fabric and folding arms inside an aluminum cassette, protected from the weather.
Every project starts with a free on-site consultation. Our team measures the wall, the distance to the pool and the area that needs shade, then recommends the size, projection, fabric and controls. Aurora supplies the custom-made awning and professionally installs it with our own team.
